This easy homemade shawarma seasoning is made with aromatic warm spices like cumin, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric & more. It's a must-have for your spice collection and it tastes way better than any store-bought blend.
1teaspoonVegeta (or any MSG based bouillon powder)
½teaspoon salt
Instructions
Measure and place all the spices into a bowl. Stir to combine, then add the spice blend to an airtight spice jar or container.
Spices tend to keep for up to 3 months with flavour lost. Be sure to purchase your spice at a bulk store that has a high product turnover.
Notes
Aleppo pepper may not be the easiest ingredient to find. So, feel free to swap it with regular chilli flakes or cayenne. A word of caution with the cayenne you'll need to reduce the amount unless you want it really spicy.
