    Deliciously Mediterranean is all about delicious, wholesome, and approachable modern Mediterranean recipes inspired from all over the Mediterranean, from the Middle East to North Africa and Southern Europe.

    My mission is to teach you how to cook⏤fresh, simple, and Fast (whenever possible, sometimes it's not) modern Mediterranean recipes that'll keep you beaming with delight with every delicious bite.

    Fresh Mediterranean meals made with seasonal ingredient is the best-kept secret to eating a satisfying Mediterranean diet and achieving maximum flavour. Eating seasonally also helps you stay on a budget and watch your waistline shrink without sacrificing amazing taste (what more could you ask for?).

    Simple new ideas and fresh takes on Mediterranean favourites to shorten preparation time, cut down on cost and create recipes that you can proudly share. We want you to learn how to cook this delicious way so that you don’t sacrifice taste just because you’re short on time and budget. I’ll show you how to get amazing flavours out of budget ingredients and how you can get organized, so it’s a breeze to serve up nourishing meals. You will have your family feeling like they are sitting on the coastline of the Mediterranean sea.

    And also fast meals for busy weeknights or creative prep idea's to speed up the traditional slow cooking methods in most in the Mediterranean. Let's be honest, who has time to be cooking for 2+ hours every day?

    What is Mediterranean cuisine?

    The food of the Mediterranean has so many beautiful regions to explore and foods so profoundly steeped in culture and history, it's easy to be inspired by the cuisine of this magnificent region.

    Most people tend to think of France, Italy, Greece, and Spain when hearing Mediterranean food, but often forgetting, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Alegria and Morrocco are also a part of the Mediterranean, but often referred to the Middle East and North African. I tend to focus on dishes from these regions because their recipes don't usually include wine and pork, but still follow the principles of Mediterranean cooking and living.

    My intention is to guide you through an exploration of these cuisines and how you can eat like the people of the Mediterranean.

    Why explore Mediterranean cuisine? Who doesn't want to be inspired with bowls of delicately steamed couscous topped with tender meats, vegetables and cinnamon-spiced onions to rich tagines filled with ruby red sauces coating little savoury balls of kaftas and topped with eggs that have yolk as golden as the sunset? Savoury, fruity, soul comforting stews and sensational seafood. Perfect pilav with beautiful warming spices of the Orient, intoxicating smells that pleasantly embrace you as you open the lid, only to be greeted by juicy meats, dried fruits and toasted nuts. That the side of the Mediterranean we want to invite you to explore.

    My recipes are cost-conscious, made using everyday ingredients and (mostly) healthy. But sometimes, I feel the need to unleash the sugar monster within. Hello, BAKLAVA
